Diversicrop – COST Action CA22146

Harnessing the potential of underutilized crops to promote sustainable food production

What is DIVERSICROP?

We promote crop diversification to address climate change and to support sustainable food production and consumption. We are funded by the European Union as a COST Action (European Cooperation in Science and Technology).

What is our goal?

Our goal is to contribute to more diverse, environmentally sustainable farming and food systems by supporting the diversification of cropping in Europe and by rethinking our food systems. Diverse cropping is the foundation of a sustainable and resilient food system that actively supports healthy diets.

Who runs DIVERSICROP?

We are an interdisciplinary network of researchers, professionals and stakeholders with expertise in archaeobotanical, crop science and genetic diversity, human nutrition and policy actors. DIVERSICROP is run according to COST Action.
